Moving into care was such a difficult decision, but made easier with the genuine kindness and care you all give her every day.

Now she feels like the Queen with two residences to call home. She is loving the company, trying new activities (she has become quite the bingo player), the van outings and she loves the food.

As someone who works in healthcare myself, I know the work the goes on behind the scenes to support her and help her to live such a quality of life. I really appreciate knowing she is safe when I can't be with her and that peace of mind looks after me too.

Our frontline team is truly the heart of our communities, creating positive moments and unforgettable memories that families will cherish for years to come. These trusted individuals work tirelessly, motivated by a pure desire to serve and care for our elders.

Today, I want to acknowledge and thank each one of you, especially my southern stars—you are the reason we are who we are. To the leaders guiding them each day, thank you for leading with sincere authenticity and compassion.

A big ‘Thank You’ to all the frontline team at Summerset by the Lake. I had the pleasure of visiting my Mom Helga over the Holiday Season and experience the incredible atmosphere of the village first hand. It fills us with great joy to see Mom so happy and content while knowing she is in a safe, beautiful and supportive environment.
