Kids shouldn't be raised seeing a difference in skin color and having very specific rules on what is allowed to be called beautiful. I think it's surprising that darker skin women don't get more praise because they are just as beautiful as any other color of skin. All the time i see people on social media praising black people who are lighter skinned than those who have darker skin. I see a lot of boys saying that they wouldn't associate themselves with darker skinned women, and degrading their value.
