         <description><![CDATA[<div>Regenerative braking</div><div>Braking system that catches vehicles energy stores in a battery and then can be used whenever.<br><br>Interior cooling in parked cars<br>Now luxury cars are incorporating solar cells on the roof to power interiorfans when the car is not in use, instead of using air conditioning <br><br>Magnetic refrigerators <br>A new way to provide cooling using magnetic fields. When developed air conditioners and fridges could use alot less energy.<br><br>LED (lights emitting diode)<br>Very bright (blue). Lights that use very little energy.<br><br>Organic photovoltaics <br>New cheap and flexible solar cells made out of carbon based interiors they are now only 5% efficient but reshearchers are trying to make them 15-20% efficient <br><br>Dry washing machines <br>Use dirt absorbing nylon beads and uses 90% less water than a normal washing machine. It saves water and therefore saves the energy needed to pump and heat the water. </div>]]></description>

He thought that he could help people fly. <br><br>British scientist Sir George Cayley discover many principles of flight, he did this by experimenting different shape of wings. <br><br>The first decades of the 1900s was where aviation development took off. They found out the bodies of an aircraft needed to be enclosed. <br><br>In 1937 Frank whittle designed the fist turbo jet engine.<br><br>Aviation boomed following WW2. <br><br>Use of composite materials such as carbon fibre reinforced plastic in the structure of modern aircrafts increases fuel efficiency.  <br><br>In 2017 the engines of a passenger jet such as the A380 airbus have become more efficient and the materials used to construct the aircraft is lighter. <br><br>Improvement in the aircraft are still ongoing.</div>]]></description>
