Claiming Allah as the Lord while associating idols creates a contradiction because Islamic teachings emphasize the oneness of God (Tawhid). Associating partners with Allah contradicts the fundamental concept of monotheism, as it suggests a division of divine power. This contradiction arises from a theological perspective within Islam. How can they believe that such thing that cant impose any benefits nor withdrawals nor any communication where in islam there is a god to communicate with through prayers and duaa as well as the evidence that are proven in quran .Moreover, quran contains the conventions and instructions we need to follow including past stories about the messengers where god shows his wisdom

Aisha Ahmed Al qamesh

Maryam Ahmed

Jawahir Ibrahim

Associating any partners with Allah is considered as Shirk, its considered as a violation of tawheed. This even contradicts monotheism. There are quranic ayahs that address this situation:

Surah Al-Baqarah (2:22):

"Who made the earth a bed for you and the sky a canopy, and sent down from the sky rain and brought forth thereby fruits as provision for you. So do not attribute to Allah equals while you know [that there is nothing similar to Him"

Surah An-Nisa (4:48):

"Indeed, Allah does not forgive association with Him, but He forgives what is less than that for whom He wills. And he who associates others with Allah has certainly gone far astray."

These ayahs convey that Allah SWT prohibits the association of partners

Idol worship started with good intention. Idols during prophet Nuh’s time were named after righteous men to remember their devotion to Allah. They placed the statues where those righteous people used to frequently meet but never worshipped them. However as the generation died people forgot the purpose of the statue and got fooled by shaitaan into worshipping the idols for rain and other blessings. Due to lack of knowledge their descendants followed as well. Prophet Nuh faced resistance when he asked the people to worship Allah alone.

“they put their fingers in their ears, covered themselves with their garments, persisted, and were arrogant with [great] arrogance.” [Qur’an 71:7]

“And said, ‘Never leave your gods and never leave Wadd or Suwa’ or Yaghuth and Ya’uq and Nasr.” [Qur’an 71:23]

Umamah Rehman.

In the context of Islamic beliefs, associating idols with Allah is considered a form of shirk, which is the act of associating partners with God. This is seen as a grave sin and a contradiction to the core tenet of Tawhid. The Qur'an, the holy book of Islam, explicitly condemns the worship of idols and emphasizes the oneness of Allah. Muslims are called to worship Allah alone and to avoid polytheism or any form of idolatry. Engaging in acts of shirk is seen as a contradiction to the fundamental principles of Islamic monotheism.

Surah Al-An'am (6:136):

{And if you obey most of those upon the earth, they will mislead you from the way of Allah.

The infidels are putting themselves in a contradiction when they worship idols and statues despite acknowledging that Allah is the one and only creator. This contradiction arises from the clash between the belief in one supreme deity and the inclusion of other objects or beings as worthy of worship or veneration alongside Allah. Allah who created the universe, humans, animals, Jinn, and all creations does not need an intermediater for worship. These idols are stationary, do not speak, hear, do not answer prayers, and are incapable of doing anything. Furthermore, these disbelievers are worshiping what they created by their own hands, while Allah alone is the creator, sustainer, giver and taker of life.

This verse from the Quran refers to a story about the people of Moses (Musa), who, after him, created a calf from their ornaments as an object of worship. Despite the calf being a lifeless statue, they worshipped it. The verse highlights their error in creating something lifeless and attributing divine qualities to it when it couldn't speak or guide them. It emphasizes their wrongdoing in choosing to worship an inanimate object, which is considered unjust and against the teachings of monotheism in Islam.

Oneness of Allah’s Lordship

Infidel is a person who does not accept the Islamic faith.

The infidels acknowledged Allah’s Lordship but also prayed to idols. They committed Shirk. Shirk is the act of associating partners with Allah; idolatry.

"Indeed Allah does not forgive that partners should be ascribed to Him, but He forgives anything besides that to whomever He wishes. Whoever ascribes partners to Allah has indeed fabricated [a lie] in great sinfulness."

This verse shows how grave a sin ascribing partners to God is.

Idols are made by man with wood and stone. Idols do not provide any form of goodness or harm. Ibrahim AS was one of the prophets who was raised in a community of people believing in idols and learned that it was not the way. He faced many trials where he was tested for his faith in Allah. Islam says that God does not share his divine attributes with anyone. ALLAH has proclaimed: "Do not worship two gods; there is only one god. You shall reverence Me alone." To Him belongs everything in the Heavens and the Earth and therefore, the religion shall be devoted absolutely to Him alone. Nuh AS was also one of the prophets who had preached about the oneness of Allah for about a millennium without much success. Nuh AS asserted to his people that monotheism is the original state of awareness for every person. When a person realizes monotheism, he or she in turn becomes an effective, useful and thankful creature of God.
