And the higher people in their society were elite warriors, government officials, priests, and scribes. The middle people in the society were artisans, traders, weavers, potters, and warriors. The common people were usually farmers. The commoners built the lowest widest part of pyramids, and the higher class people built the tops of the pyramids.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Mayan calendar was the first sign of humans trying to keep historical records. The calendar started on August 11, 3114 BCE and ended on December 12, 2012. The calendar was completely accurate they accounted for every solstice, equinox, eclipse, and they didn't have leap year because of there precise math and astronomy there year didn't have .25 extra days. Mayans played a ball game with slanted stone walls and a sideways hoop. they used there hips to move the ball around, many of these games were serious competitions, losers would be sacrificed.</div>]]></description>
