PROCEDURE: Using a vernier caliper I measured the bullet and then divided the measurement by 24.3mm/in.

RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONS:  I found the bullet to be 9mm which translates to .35 caliber. PROCEDURE: I compared each finger print to those provided from the victim and suspects. When I found what looked like a close match, I looked for eight matching characteristics.

RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONS: One of the finger prints belonged to Lily Foster while the other two belonged to Vinny Sabatino and Antonio Sabatino.

From the powder evidence we concluded that the crushed powder on the scene was prescription Vicodin.
From the fiber evidence, we found that the fiber was cotton. The only suspect who wore pure cotton was Antonio Sabatino.

From the DNA evidence we found that it belonged to Lily Foster.

From the bullet evidence we concluded that the bullet in her body was from a 9mm (.35 caliber) gun. This narrowed it down to Kennie Vega or Vinny Sabatino. Based on the fact that no other evidence places Kennie at the scene, it's reasonable to assume that it belonged to Vinny Sabatino.

From the fingerprint evidence, we found that the first fingerprint belonged to Lily Foster, the second belonged to Antonio Sabatino, and the third belonged to Vinny Sabatino. Her aim was to retrieve a package she hid in the school with the intent to return it to Vinny Sabatino.

Vinny and Antonio Sabatino broke into the school's student entrance at 10:25pm. They confronted Lily, ready to kill her as a means to protect the secrecy of their drug ring. When she had her back turned to them, one of them shot her in the back using Antonio's gun at approximately 10:30pm

While fleeing, a loose Vicodin pill fell to the floor. Antonio stepped on it, crushing it. The powder stuck to his foot which resulted in a partial footprint when he next stepped on that foot.

The average body temperature being 37c and Lily's temperature being 30.37c provides a difference of 6.63c. Being less than 12 hours you can divide that by .78c (the rate of temperature decrease/hour within 12 hours) which brings you to 8.5 hours. I added an extra hour as the late spring/early summer heat may have slowed the temperature decrease a fair amount.
