Sources reported Macbeth disclosing information following the battle against the Norwegians and Scottish rebels, in which the Thane of Glamis and his comrades achieved a marvelous victory. Macbeth went on to report the act of treason by the Thane of Cawdor, Macdonwald, who was soon executed under the commands of King Duncan. It was also confirmed that his title as Thane of Cawdor was transferred to Macbeth’s name, alongside his presently inhabited title of Thane of Glamis. Many soldiers, that were present at the scene of the battle, witnessed the extreme leadership, courage, and swordsmanship that Macbeth was said to exhibit against his enemies. It is rumored that King Duncan is wishing to fulfill a celebration alongside the war hero, supposedly at Macbeth’s castle. The post victory festivities were very sudden and nonchalant, therefore Macbeth’s servants and groundskeepers are working very quickly in order to provide a beautiful and welcoming environment for the great King Duncan.

Many of those in the vicinity of Macbeth’s castle on the night of the King’s celebration have reported strange and disturbing happenings throughout the night. In context, these seemingly supernatural occurrences were disturbing sleep, causing cries and inhumane action of tamed animals, and even influencing the ways of mother nature. There were even stories of carriage horses freeing themselves from their restraints, fighting each other, and the proceeding to show acts of cannibalism. It is only midnight at the time of this recording, so these unexplainable events will most likely continue to remain present throughout the night. Investigators did not recover any paranormal records of this property, so it seems unlikely that this is a result of anything that is occurring near the vicinity of the King. Reporters are moving to the scene and will continue to relay any information relative to this strange and worrisome situation.

The general public is invited to join the festivities, however, discretion is advised as there will be many deaths and graphic sightings.
KING DUNCAN IS DEAD

The morning following the King’s celebration, it was confirmed that King Duncan was reported dead. He did not experience a peaceful passing, however. Men and investigators working the scene relayed the information regarding the MURDER of our great king. Stabbed by a short blade, Duncan was unable to fight back because he was sound asleep after a short night of festivities and drinking. Due to the darkness and silence of the night within Macbeth’s castle, there are no eyewitnesses to the account. However, crime scene investigators are swabbing the place of the crime and interrogating all known suspicions. One of the King’s head servants was the one to discover the highness’s lifeless corpse. This murderous act of treason could very well be the cause of the strange happenings throughout the night. The King’s court stated that this is a crime that will not be taken lightly, and the offender will be executed without the right to await trial.

Suspicions Following the Death of Duncan

After further investigation of the crime scene, and receiving responses from a multitude of witness interviews, the King’s court feels as if they have successfully reached a justified conclusion in regards to the King’s murder. Due to the powerful position of the Kingdom, it would only be reasonable for the King’s heirs to desire a seat on the throne. Especially for the personality of Malcolm, he wishes for nothing more that the power that the appointee achieves once named King. However, when the City’s Watch attempted to launch an assault on the residence of the King’s sons, no trace of the heirs were present, as they fled the country. This unexplainable action just supported the foundation of accusing these two of the murder of King Duncan. Recently, the Court has launched a wave of spies and other officials to attempt to bring Malcolm and his brother to justice, in which it will be served.

During the celebration that followed Macbeth being named as the new King, a plethora of spectators described the unexplainable behavior of the host. Macbeth was said to be going mad, as he claimed innocence to unknown speculations and claimed that he was in contact with supernatural beings. Absent from this disturbing scene, was the King’s hand, Banquo. Banquo and his son, Fleance, were last seen departing for a late afternoon walk, and they were supposed to return in time for the celebration, but they never made it back to the castle. A missing person report has been filed for both of these individuals. No suspects have been announced for the disappearances or the King’s disturbances, but both of these situations are being analyzed by domestic investigators. We wish to see the return of the King’s hand and his son, as well to report the sudden or gradual betterment of our Lord King, Macbeth.

By the time this story is published, it is no secret that the once so glorious King Macbeth, has gone completely mad. The Ruler has begun a murderous cleansing spree, disembodying most of his closest apprentices and advisers. Investigators and reachable officials claim that they are unaware of why these circumstances are occurring, but they are rapidly seeking a conclusion. Members of the King’s Court are said to be fleeing from the country, as they seek refuge in lands free the the jurisdiction and power of King Macbeth. Macduff, a close adviser of the King, reported that his family has been slaughtered in an attempt to intimidate and threaten the disloyalty to his commands and his grace. The oppression of all inferior rankings has been in effect, limiting the amount of retaliation that the public has access to. To all, be safe, and stay clear of the wretched killing path of King Macbeth.

I do not wish to leave this earth so soon and I can say with confidence that the same goes for my loved ones. I did not do anything to demonstrate treason or disloyalty to the ruler, yet last week he butchered all my livestock and burned my house to ashes. Where do I go from here?
Signed,
Terrified

Dear Terrified,

This situation actually has a very simple solution. You must change your name, become the opposite gender, and follow the King’s road to the furthest shore or the highest mountain. You are not safe and you never will be again, the same goes for your family. You are probably already dead before I finished writing this column. I wish the best for you and your loved ones. Have a nice trip.

Signed,

Abby
