I had done research on the vaccine and asked Ms Blau about it because she taught us about COVID-19 before school went out of session. My experience taking the vaccine was honestly smooth sailing. I went to the local Walgreens and scheduled my appointments. I did not have any acute side effects, I only experienced headaches and increased bowel movements for one day. She turned 93 years old this year, and although she's relatively healthy, I didn't want to risk anything by potentially exposing her to COVID. My grandma is my best friend and biggest supporter, so it was really hard for me to have to stand 6+ feet apart from her the few times I was able to visit during the worst of the pandemic.
