Sardinians are very proud of the beauty of their trasparent water and their sandy  beaches, one of the main attractions in Sardinia.
The authorities are concerned as several tonnes of the island's precious sand disappear every year; (irresponsible tourists take the sand home as "souvenir" and not realise they had committed an offence).
Sardinia's famed sand, corals, shells are considered a public good and it's strictly forbidden to remove they from island.
Consequently the law has set high fines for those who thake away sand, walk over the dunes and collect shells, with the aggravating circumstance of having damaged an asset of public utility.

They meet the need to implement techniques and management tools which are able to improve the culture-tourism binomial. The widespread hotel can be defined as a "horizontal accomodation facility", generally situated in an old town center, with rooms and bathrooms placed in different buildings. The widespread hotel is partuculary suitable for villages that are characterized by old town centres of artistic and architectural interest. In this way, these centres can restore and develop some of their old unused buildings and they can avoid building new structures for solving the problem of the tourist accomodation capacity. The project originated from here Visit South Sardinia, which in 2013 led the major tourist areas of southern Sardinia: Cagliari, Domus de maria, Muravera, Pula and Villasimius, which joined in a common tourism, plan group. If a tourist trow on the floor or in the sea a bottle of plasticor rubbish ,these things can causes the pollution . Especially in the sea the plastic, can be eaten by fish and they can get suffocate or trick and consequently they die .In the beach, the rubbish grow and cause s the pollutin ,making impossible to stay in a place .
