The speech was about the increasingly problem of the divorce rate (Apparently, in the US). The presenter has tried to find out, why married people have so serious troubles in relationships which lead to separation. So, there was for real quite sapid statistic about the number of divorces in 2003. It turned out that approximately 50% of married people has divorced and, what is more interesting, the part of them have had another marriage after separation. Among negative trends speakers underlined the stressful situations for children, who can see the fights and quarrels between adults. As for positive trends somebody has noticed that after the first divorce and subsequent marriage people will approach the thing with caution and vigilance: organisation of family budget, marriage contract e.t.c Obviously, some had disagreements. Before even the first marriage people reason possible difficulties and nuances in interaction because of oath to God to be together forever otherwise this institution was not be so strong.

Divorce rate is increased and even doubled in 1969-1972. Then it was doubled again and there was a peak. Moreover, remarriage also became more frequent occurrence. There was an remark that a tradition that man should be older than woman was also changed. Then the age of getting married also increased. And the main pity of this statistics was increasing the amount of children who have only one parent. Certainly, kids are effected of divorce and in most cases stepmothers and fathers couldn't replace natural ones. However, the keeping marriage only for children was called not a good idea. It can be even more negative than separation from the parents as of course a lot of spats that children can see in family have a rather more negative impact on their mind. So the remarriage can be really more preferred in this situation. Also there was an idea that people should not give promises that they cannot keep. And such phrases as 'marriage should be forever' are very controversial. So there are a lot of examples of people who said that their love is forever but some years later they divorced. Also there was said that an optimal period of living together without getting married is two or three years. And only then it can be a time to thinking about such serious step as marriage.

The discussion was related to the changing statistics of marriage. Despite all facts, making a family is still popular with more than 50% of population. However, the amount of divorce is doubled from year to year that can make a problem for children (especially, for less than 5 y.o. ones), who are really affected by this fact. It is necessary for babies and teenagers to live with their natural mother and father, but keeping marriage for kids is irrational and destructive for parents. As for another trend, remarriage is becoming increasingly popular around many EU countries. What is more, the tendency of women marrying older men has no value now because the age does not matter. There was a dispute about the key purpose of a wedding. A man thought that the Christian idea of being together forever must be followed because stopping a relationship of a wife and a husband means breaking promises. The other people disagreed that it is not such a serious commitment. They proposed a solution to the problem: a divorce can be avoided by living a few years together before a marriage to keep in touch with a partner on a daily routine. To sum up, neither positive nor negative trends were named as all of the above issues can be viewed in different aspects because it depends on a concrete situation and family.

The podcast was about the marriage and divorce topics. Besides, the speakers observed the problems of growing divorce rate ,remarriage, living together without marriage and marriages in church vs state marriage. From 1996 to 2003, as speakers have said, the number of people living together doubled. Frankly speaking, I think that is a positive trend. People spend a lot of money on marriage and on children afterwards. However, that money could be spent on developing business. On the other hand, the decreasing rate of church marriages is a negative thing. The church marriages last longer and such a marriage is based on love and it is not easy to destroy it. Speakers opinion was controversial in every speaking and there wasn't a strait position in their discussion.

The subject of discussion was about institution of marriage. The first first narrator told about increasing divorce statistic, which showed crysis in institute of marriage. The most important problem was misunderstanding between people in marriage. The highlights shows us that quantity of divorces doubled, moreover the number of remarriages increases to. Likewise the narrator told us about children which have stepmoms or stepdads. On the one hand we can say that the crysis of institute of family obvious and statistic data support this thesis. On the other hand I can suppose that this important institute transforming now in something new. To sum up I want to say that current crysis is not the first in the history, but I regretting this enormous number of people and children which fallen victim of misunderstanding. Also I think that people should do some more self reflections about their relationships and connecting with surrounding people.

According to statistics, over the past 30-40 years, the number of divorces has multiplied, approximately 4 times. But also people began to marry more often and what is most interesting is to do it again. It is worth noting that during this time, people have changed their attitude towards the characteristics of a partner. Now there is no tradition that a man should not be older than a woman. But from this follows a bad remark - there are many more children whose parents are divorced because of which the children suffer and they may have childhood traumas. But keeping the marriage just for the sake of children is also not the best idea, as the child will grow up amid quarrels and conflicts that have negative consequences for the child and his mental health.
In addition, the authors noted that people should not make promises that they cannot keep.
There are many examples when people said that they were together forever, but got divorced only after a couple of years. Therefore, it is not worth saying that your love will definitely be eternal.
In conclusion, I want to say that the authors rightly said that it is best to live together for about 2-3 years together, and then think about getting married.

The seminar was devoted to marriage statistics and partnerships. The speaker relied on the book of 2005 and told us that there was a decrease in marriage. Besides, the divorce rate had doubled until the peak in 1993. Another popular trend was remarriage. As for the age of brides and grooms, the statistics said that women were older than men. Also, the increase in divorces affected little children because it was important for them to live with their parents. However, it was irrational to keep marriage only for children.

Speakers argued about the purpose of the wedding. On the one hand when people divorce, they broke the promise they had given to god. On the other hand, it is not a serious liability. The solution was to live together for a few years before the wedding to get used to the partner and his routine.

In coclusion I can say that there were named both positive and negative trends, and solutions to some problems were introduced.

The discussion was devoted to regulation of relation between people. The speaker reasoning about relationship in families. Besides, he adds some statistics about marriages, divorces, remarriages, etc. Data of divorces and marriages are not sustainable. On of the trends of relationship in marriage, that, as a rule, man in family older than woman and the reverse situation is very rare. Further, he observes the issue of children in divorce families. Positive trend is shown, that healthier children are located in the family with 2 parents and weaker children in families with one parent. Another marvelous thought, that marriage is something sacred, this is promise to live with man or woman forever is came from christianity. And one awful fact, that couples, which live together before marriage likely divorce in future. I agree with some trends. Marriage is organization, like economic organization

The speech is devoted to changes in partnership and relationship between people over the last decades. The speaker observes the statistics of marriages, divorces, re-marriages and other data connected to this topic. The key problematic issue is how the changes in the appearance of divorces can affect other people’s lives. To begin the discussion the speaker presents some information about the rise of divorces and re-marriages up until 1990’s when they reached the peak. Besides, they mention the shift in the age of couples that get married. Then the discussion concerns the effect put on children who are born in families, which witnessed a divorce. On one hand, the influence of surge in divorces is adverse, because children have to suffer parents’ separation. On the other hand, divorce is a better option when the marriage is a disaster. Hence, the point of the discussion is how to dodge the most negative effect for children – it is like deciding between two evils.

The meeting was about marriage institute and about its indicators. In this regard the presenter observes divorce, remarriage and family statistics.
The key problematic issue is increase of divorces and remarriages from 1972 after the baby boom till nowadays. Actually the divorce rate had doubled between 1969 and 1972 and doubled again in 1974-1978 (the pick was in 1993). The institution of marriage started to falling apart and no longer so strong after this experience.
Among the negative trends the main problem of this tendency is the children which have to live in step families after their parents divorce. Mostly they are under 5 years old.
Positive trends constitute a huge statistic about couples who lives together for a long time and just have not wanted to link their relationships in front of the god/goverment or anything else. By the way some of the divorced couples find a new half and get a new family further.
In general the speakers opinions are divided. First of them doesn't agree with the statement of remarriages because of church. Second thinks that divorce is very harmful for the kids.

The seminar was devoted to the trends in partnership.
The key problematic issue was the negative and positive sides of such trends as increasing number of divorces and remarriages, children affected by divorce, higher rate how people getting married.
The most impressive facts that marriages are still popular (the peak in marriages was in 1972 and it was a peak of baby boom) but sadly divorce rate increased. It doubled between 1969-1972 and again in 1974-1978. Its peak was in 2003, almost 50% of married people divorced. Another trend across European Union is the age people are getting married increased. Also there are a great increase in number of marriages where women are older of men.
Negative trend is that large number of children are affected by divorce in young age (around 5 years old). Although marriage is still a strong institution, the recent decrease in marriage was mentioned in the study. In addition, the divorce rate and remarriage rate are increasing.
The facts that impressed most were increasing age, in which people are getting married not only in the US, but also across the Europa and stepfamilies are mostly made up by the natural mother and stepfather.
One of the opposing ideas was that, should families do not divorce just for the sake of children. One of the speakers said that living with step families or alone may have a negative effect on children. Another participant underlined that children growing in hassle, when parents are fighting all the time is worse than clean break. Additional controversial opinion was about duration of marriage. Should it last till the end of life or be temporarily?
Among positive trends participant of the seminar mentioned remarriage, if people still believe in the institution of marriage. Speaking about negative trends, speakers underlined that at the beginning many couples do not take the commitment seriously enough. To decrease the probability of divorce, couples should cohabitate 1-2 years before getting married.
