Carson says "No Cheese? No Cheese?" as though if he shouted loud enough someone would put it back" this relates to the character Hem in "Who Moved My Cheese". i can relate to this because i have before reacted to challenges harsh and thought if i kept reacting to the situation it will soon change or get better.

scenarios that most people go through, where people/friends you notice cant progress efficiently "sniff and Scurry had quickly moved on, Hem and Haw continued to hem and haw". the author is really saying Sniff and Scurry are not stuck on one option and quickly move on, while hem and haw cant make any progress because there stuck in there non active ways. Change of any type requires adaptation a response to handle the new situatio-Kawalski. i can agree and relate to this quote because ive beeen in situation where there was a change i had to make, but could not change all of a sudden and i had to adapt first

being non active sets you back from accomplishing goals. "Why should we change?"(carson). i think the author made this statement and feels as though he does not need to change. Hem is the none active character that ignores change.I can relate to being non active, sometimes i feel like doing nothing at all.
