You can get there:
- on foot: there are excellent footpaths along the river from Waterloo and from Southwark Bridge;
- by underground: the nearest tube stations are Blackfriars - Mansion House - London Bridge  and St Paul's;
- by train: the major local stations London Bridge, Cannon Street  and Waterloo;

The theater could hold up to 3000 people. The entry price was, in the Elizabethan age, 1 pence for standing places and 2 pence for seats. A roof sheltered the costly costumes of the actors from the rain. Today the theater, for security reasons, can only accommodate up to 1600 people.
