         <description><![CDATA[<div>The use of various innovations to industry increased production. Interchangeable parts allowed large machinery able to be fixed easily and  keep running. Agricultural inventions like the McCormick reaper caused a massive increase in the amount of acres a farmer could manage, thus creating a larger food supply for all the workers. The Steam engine revolutionized factories and mining, and also led to the creation of Steamboats, which were much faster then conventional means of shipping.<br>The telegraph created a massive increase in sharing of information and ideas, improving the means of production.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Market revolution caused many changes to peoples lives, such as causing family size to drop from an average of 6, to under five within a century. It also effected families on a personal level. Women took a new assertive role called "Domestic Feminism" which signified the growing power and independence of women. People were brought up to be more independent. The revolution caused families to have better lives, being fed well and having money. It created the picture "modern" family, small, affectionate and child-centric.</div>]]></description>
