Often times, students families can move to America to attempt to find better paying jobs or a better life than their previous one. This can result in the children or students having little to no knowledge of the english language.

Issues of Prejudice

New students who are just coming to America often times can be judged for what they look like or what language they speak. This can cause the students to be treated unfairly or different than the other students.

Language Difficulties

Many times students are coming from fully Hispanic cultures and families where the main language is Spanish. This creates extreme difficulties when they are forced to come to a new country and expected to do things such as learn and communicate with others in the school setting.
