This meant that a stricter lockdown would be in place again in order to prevent the spread of the virus. This left me experiencing boredom, something usually never happens to me. I think this is because I haven't been able to talk and spend time with my close relatives. Even though I am busy with online classes and my parents are busy with their work, we continuously strive to at least spend time with each other everyday. For example, we go for early walks or ride a bike around the barangay if time permits. However, with the new grading system and sometimes the shorter deadlines of some of the requirements, the academic burden becomes a bit too heavy for me at times. As such, there are times where I feel burned out and unmotivated to do these tasks. Some of these are working out, playing video games such as Call of Duty Mobile and Genshin Impact and cycling with my father. It become difficult for me to get tasks done and be my best self. In order to not let this get the best of me, I often take a break and rest from doing any academic work. Then, I reflect and look back to why I study in the first place.
