So they began to try and fight that by building sewers to move waste away and aqueducts to bring clean water in. The dark ages are important because they show no progress at all, people reverted back into the old ways of religion curing diseases as well as being the cause for it. The middle ages gave some light at the end of the tunnel, people began to be interested in the way the Romans treated disease and medical universities were born. The bubonic plague also occurred during the 1300's.</div>]]></description>
