Seeing the need for cultural development and activation of young people, on May 2, 2006, with the initiative of local artists, the cultural organization “7Arte” was founded.

In the same year, this organization becomes a member of the New European Cinema Network, which offers young artists more opportunities for cooperation and cultural promotion.

7Arte plays the role of a cultural alternative center by organizing multidisciplinary cultural activities such as: visual workshops, music festivals, outdoor screening, street art, poetry nights, crafts fair, exchange programs and education programs, peace building and environmental actions.

They involve and encourage women to be active in many initiatives and programs; an organization that includes environmental component, strive revitalization of abandoned buildings and change the local cultural politics.

 
They  are implementing various projects during 2022, such as:

Cultural Space of Kosovo, which aims to strengthen the role of the local CSOs and cultural actors in managing public infrastructure and cooperating with local governments for inclusive and sustainable use of public infrastructure, policies and finance.

Mitrovica Green Festival is another annual project. It is  multidisciplinary festival that consists of art installation, concerts, exhibitions, visual arts, film screenings, lectures, education program, green actions, and also combines all activities toward environmental causes and sustainability in Kosovo.

The program of Creative Corner a meeting place with a stage where the organization provide technical support and promote young artists. Among other activities in Creative Corner are: weekly game nights, film screenings, gigs, and poetry nights.

Besides, the organization has to implement several activities per month, such as public debates. This project is supported by the EU office in Pristina, Kosovo and 7Arte is partner organization with Anibar, Lumbardhi and Pogon from Croatia. 

7Arte is also organizing regularly “BarCamps” an informal forum/speech from key people who would exchange their experiences and successful stories from different fields of the life. This activity is organized monthly and targets local community in Mitrovica.

7Arte also provides the space for rent to many youth organizations. This kind of service is indirectly generating incomes  and also helps on networking with organizations, community, youth and also as a promotion of the space.

Furthermore, 7Arte is willing to involve volunteers who face situations which make their participation in activities more difficult, from the following categories for different types of project:

For this purpose, 7Arte provides the volunteers with a language course. There is  a cultural evening in the organization space each Friday evening, where it is possible to meet people from the city as well as international people and practice different languages including Albanian or Serbo-Croatian language.  Learning another language is a process, but learning Albanian as a unique language within Indo-European languages is cool! :) 

  

  

A social issue generally refers to the issues of a country that basically harms its social and cultural aspects.
 Some of the vital social issues that people are facing in India right now are are poverty, child labour, corruption, unemployment, drug addiction, overpopulation, pollution, offences against the women such as rape, acid attack, juvenile delinquency, caste-based discrimination, crimes, and many more. 
I staunchly agree with the fact that these social issues prevent the path of India towards development. However, with the changing time, there is an increase in the awareness among the common people, which will solely curb these ailments of social issues from the country.

Both the government and the commoner should walk hand in hand to tackle the current social issues in India.

It has been recognised by the United States and major European Union countries, but Serbia, backed by its powerful ally Russia, refuses to do so, as do most ethnic Serbs inside Kosovo. After the break-up of the former Yugoslavia in the 1990s, Serbia responded to separatist pressure from Kosovo by launching a brutal crackdown on the territory's Albanian population, which was only brought to an end by Nato military intervention in 1999.

After international efforts fail to stop the Kosovo conflict, Nato begins aerial bombardment of Serb targets. Yugoslav and Serbian forces respond with a campaign of ethnic cleansing against Kosovar Albanians, prompting an exodus. Following a peace agreement, Yugoslav and Serbian forces withdraw from Kosovo and a UN sponsored administration takes over.

Until 2008 the province was administered by the UN. Reconciliation between the majority Albanians, most of whom support independence, and the Serb minority remains elusive.
