Rather than a silly group photo this week your group will post an example of your groups data as an image here on PADLET. Take the time to think about how you want your data to look. It's o.k. if you don't quite have all your data yet, but you should be getting close. This was the point of our waste audit, for you to think about how to visualize information. Feel free to use your research for other examples. Then sit down with your group and read the FINAL POWER POINT instructions and divvy up assignments. A rough draft of the powerpoint is due the Friday after we return from Thanksgiving, December 1 by 11pm (worth 5 pts) and the final is due the evening before presentations, Wednesday Dec. 6 by 11pm. -We conducted our first phase of our project by collecting food waste in a twenty minute time period. We collected the number of students who participated, and we constructed a formula to show the amount of waste collected (in gallons) in any amount of time. - Our data collection was identifying what problem areas are left on the steep bank behind HNS. We have also come up with a plan on how to implement our project, by using organic leaf matter and sewing grass on the bare, problem areas we identified.
