My name is Evelia Ivy Longoria, and I am also new to the Educational Technology program.
 I am originally from the Rio Grande Valley but moved away to other parts of Texas when I was 16. I was an elementary school teacher for 17 years, and I taught pre-k through 5 grade; I taught at these school districts in Texas: Pasadena, Conroe, and Bastrop ISD. I have a son who is 40 and a daughter who is 19. My son works at the Fort Bragg military base in North Carolina; I miss him very much. My daughter is in college and studies computer science.
I am looking forward to graduation, and I can already see myself walking up onto the stage and receiving my M.Ed in Education. 
Woohoo!! I'm ready; I know it will be a lot of hard work, but I'm determined to do my best and strive for success!
