         <description><![CDATA[<div>In scenario 9, many negative and harmful behaviors were reinforced. The football player learned that his hateful actions were permissible and protected. The victim learned that adults will not protect her from targeted attacks and that her sense of worth and feelings did not matter.<br><br>We wish that there had been not only a school-mandated consequence, but also a type of restorative justice in which the person in question learned to change their behavior and understand how their actions are harmful.&nbsp;<br><br>We are thankful that the district is investing in a student support counselor (Mrs. Scharff!) to help support the needs of students who are suffering in this way at SRVHS. However, we wish there were more, because the needs of our students are greater than what we have support for.<br><br>We wonder what the college-level consequences of these actions would be?</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>If we knew that Will came to Coach, bring players and talk to them -&gt; trust is part of team, can't play without team, even if they aren't treating Will properly, treat and educate, part psychologist. Let Will know that he can feel supported, communication and education, group initiation. Needs to be broader based discussion of science, health class, natural state. Culturally we have come a long way, primitive starting point, change is slow. Admin trying to get more curriculum on community building, if you know everybody in class you're less likely to be mean to them. Community building=liking each other. Unsupervised areas.
