Time for Kids builds the critical reading skills kids need to succeed in the information era. TIME for Kids helps young readers better understand our complex world, and nurtures them to become informed, active citizens.

Check the library-Libraries let you borrow books. Many neighborhoods have their own library. Many schools have a library. Take a look at what is at the library. Visit your local library and checkout your favorite book. You will then share it with your classmates. Remember to describe if it is fiction or nonfiction and what section you found it in at the library.

Students learn about weather factors by using their senses to observe and describe current weather conditions as well as learn to recognize and identify the four main weather factors (temperature, precipitation, wind, cloud cover) using videos from PEEP and the Big Wide World. Students observe and identify weather factors that describe weather.
