If we move to another platform, we would need help finding ways to continue to use our interfaces and probes to collect that data. Also, the printers in the classroom are an integral part of this, it allows students to print out graphs of their data to include in lab reports

There is simply not enough access to technology at either the MS or HS level for us to have students actively engaged in learning 21st Century skills. Laptop carts are not dependable, and computer labs are at a premium. Engaging in individualized-guided websites is near impossible based on those restrictions.

Lack of technology in the classroom and the connection between work and home. The ability to do work at home and then use it at school has been improved with Google Docs and having access to Google. However, the lack of technology for the kids to interact with the material is frustrating. It would be nice to do more computer based activities or smartboard activities with the students.

It is difficult for travelling teachers to access District computers to load the District Intranet and to use and print/store documents for class, since several of us don't have rooms of our own (with computer access). The computer lab is one possibility; at times it is locked, though, which means that computer access remains difficult for those of us who don't have their own classroom computer.

Agree with "Not Enough Access" . I have 6 computers in my room, the kids are usually situated 3 to 5 to a computer. The proximity of each computer is also not ideal once the kids get involved (they are congregated in a small space). It would be ideal to drop lines in other areas of my room so the work space/computer usage could be maximized. also, having a smartboard or a large tv screen instead of a pulldown screen would be beneficial. Lastly, it would be convenient if my projector wasn't "fixed" and could face a different wall for instruction.

The current copier situation is unacceptable. Machines are down more than they are up. Both high schools increased staff by 40%-ish and additional computers weren't brought in until the end of November. Each high school should have received one of Kenmore Middle's copy machines to help with the increase in staff. None of these machines were meant to copy the volumes that they are currently being used to copy. Teachers have no choice since some subject areas aren't allowed to order textbooks. Valuable time is being lost trying to find working machines to have resources for the students. I have never seen lines so long waiting to use a machine.
