Macionis (pg, 489)  I chose this video because over the years we have seen more and more frequently how women demand gender equality, how they defend their rights and fight for respect and courage towards each other in search of security and a more stable future in every way. This movement has gained more strength every day at a global level and is something that has generated some awareness and controversy in society in general.

Although in recent years the situation has changed a lot because it has generated societies to unite and protest to try to make a change in some way and prevent these acts from going unpunished or from repeating themselves.

Since decades women have been denigrated in a thousand ways by men, thus being the beneficiaries in many aspects and they have taken control without taking us into account or giving us the place we deserve despite doing the same job or even more than them.

In this publicity we see how the woman is denigrated and badly valued just for not being "attractive and the typical stereotype of a woman" and clearly the man rejects her at the beginning because of this. Sadly, this is the reality today and situations like this are seen everywhere.

I chose this image because it seemed very real to what we are living today. There are so many countries suffering from poverty and inequality where people don't even have enough to eat and go to the point of putting their children to work too instead of going to school and playing. Children who must submit to long hours of work in exchange for a negligible salary.

I related this image to the theme because I could see and feel how governments with better economies take advantage in a certain way of the most needy countries having as a consequence the dependency to be able to survive and have a better quality of life regardless of the long hours of work or the consequences because most families are affected by poverty and manage to get enough to survive by working for international companies.
