It is a period of great change, where science and technology rule, but it also had a lot of really alarming and harmful consequences. 
Many people lost their jobs.
They tried to fight this unstoppable movement, they destroyed machines and left notes, but eventually the realized they would need to join this comapnies, otherwise they would die of hunger.

The British empire had a lot of growth (until 1/5 of the world), it's 'purpose' was to spread the British 'values' all over the world, 'civilizing' cities by conquering them.
This was a period of peace, prosperity, and evolution.
Children under 10 were given the right of studying, and not working.
But it was also a time of misery, the ugliness of the cities was pretty hard, thanks to the over-population. 
It had a quite racist system, in which 'identity', was conformed by their race, gender and social class, which left excluded a lot of people to starvation. 
Also it led to 'consumarism'

1.Specialisation: National economies would become richer the more specialized the worker's work became, (they would become experts and improve).
2. Consumer Capitalism: Money should be invested in activities that propose a self.realization. Rich's people taxe's wourl provide care services (like health) for poor people. 
3. How to treat the rich: "rich people acumulate their money for feeling honored and liked", so he proposed giving them awards for good ivestments (good of society).
4. From my perspective, Industrial Revolution is the beggining of the end, it is how human beings started to destroy the unity, the nature, environmentaly talking but also the nature of the humans, their healthy capacities.
