         <description><![CDATA[<div>I learnt that in contemporary you need a lot of strength in the back as well as the core. With a string upper body you are more capable to perform the correct form of a flat back and laterals also. The technical side of contemporary ( Horton Technique ) i found difficult. It involves constant stretch and pull through the arms and the hands. As seen in picture 1.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div> My biggest down fall at the start of the year was my flexibility. I could never get my leg past 90 degrees but with constant stretching at the gym and pushing to get into my splits, I have now been able to get my leg to a 90 degree point. Even in class I’m constantly pushing to get it higher. Example (video 1)</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I started to become more aware of&nbsp;how my shoulders were positioned, i look in the mirror while doing every exercise and routine and try to be more upright rather than hunching forward. Its helping my body mould into the way the style should look. Having a good posture makes the style of Jazz more presentable when i'm dancing. Even though its harder for me ill keep pushing till its developed.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This exercise has been the most effective for me. Its gave me the strength to hold a releve longer than i could to begin with. I would stumble and bend my knee so i would maintain balance. Like in picture 3. But with my intense training and practice i can now hold the releve long enough to perform two or three turns. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>Looking back on my mistakes on this exercise i started to work a lot on the pointing of the foot. I stretch my feet whenever i can so that the arch of my foot and the muscle gets used to the position it should be in. I get cramp regularly from holding the point but this is because my foot isn't used to it, Hopefully if i keep practicing and stretching the foot it will become natural.  Exercises i do are shown in video 5.</div>]]></description>
