I have always known from the very beginning that I want to be a singer-songwriter when I get older. Music has always been my main passion/interest, so it wasn't hard for anyone in my family to guess that my dream profession lies within the music field.

I am torn between vocal performance, studio work, and music composition. Singing has always been my favorite activity. I know for a fact that I want to work hard to become a talented vocal performer. I have also been writing song lyrics since before the 6th grade, and it has always just come naturally to me. I also learned to play the guitar in 7th grade, which is a very helpful skill to have when it comes to writing songs, so that is one aspect that I definitely want to expand within. Within the last year or so, I have become more and more interested in the recording aspect of music. I saw some videos online of artists in the studio recording professional work, and that's when I started to realize just how artistic my own music could sound. All of these interests of music put together make it very hard for me to know what I will want to focus on in college.

Growing up in Center City, there are lots of restaurants and unique locations that I spend time at each week, including my synagogue. I don't want to just leave it all behind when I start college, I want to have access to my favorite spots, as well as my family-friends.

I obviously want to see so many places all around the world, and if I could explore all those places while doing what I love and connecting with people, I think it would be the time of my life. Hopefully, one day I will do it all.

I like some songs more than others, but all in all the ones I still have are pieces that I'm really proud of, and pieces that really express my experiences.

When they first started out in their career, they felt like they were being constantly molded into people who they really weren't. They were being told to dress a certain way, act a certain way, and produce and sings specific kinds of music. They have since shared out the many stories of the struggle they went through in the industry, and I have already learned a lot about what the experience can do to a person. However, I am somewhat interested in finding out for myself what it's like to be pushed around constantly to get what some people might think of as "success." Therefore, I want to live through the music industry at some point in my life.

I have taken music lessons in my life already, and I wouldn't know how to play the guitar if I hadn't taken all of those lessons. However, I never took any advice or instruction from anyone since I started writing original lyrics. Today, I have so many songs written that I believe are very good, and that my friends have even said are well-written or relatable. Therefore, I want to show people that although I never had any guidance through my songwriting process or skills, I am still able to produce quality work.
