Walking Home

South Leam isn't the safest place in the world- I was walking back from the bus stop alone, and saw a guy who was walking towards me dash into the alley to the left as soon as he spotted me. As soon as I passed the alleyway, he came out and started following me home. I had to call a friend (pretending to be her flatmate) and put her on speaker while I speed-walked away. He seemed like he was gaining on me but slowed down when I turned onto the main street when there were other people around. When I got home, I was still really shaken up but just brushed it off as a typical experience women have to face every day. Just for existing.
