In the afternoon, I return home to work on my thesis. I research law documents and I have lunch at 1:00 pm. Sometimes, I practice my drawing or paint to relax. I check my activities for tomorrow.

At night, I prepare my dinner and organize my room. After, I like writing in my journal from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm and watching movies. Finally, I go to bed at 11:00 pm.

The tamal is very popular in Colombia. There are many types of tamal, such as the tamal huilense and the tamal tolimense. They have different tastes; for example, the tamal tolimense is often spicy. It is delicious served either cold or hot. Many families enjoy eating them during Sunday gatherings or special holidays. The smell of the steamed leaves reminds everyone of home. It is a fundamental part of our culinary identity that brings people together around the table.

I’d like to study in Paris, France, because it is the world capital of art and literature. As someone who likes to draw and write, the inspiration there is endless.

I’d also like to study in Rome, Italy, because as a law student, it is the birthplace of Roman Law.

In Paris, I can sit by the Seine River to sketch the architecture, visit the Louvre Museum, and write in the same cafés where famous philosophers used to sit.

In Rome, I can explore the Roman Forum to see where ancient laws were debated and enjoy the best pasta in the world.

• Paris is often gray and rainy like Bogotá, while Rome is much sunnier and warmer.

• The Eiffel Tower is the most famous tourist spot in Paris, whereas the Colosseum is the heart of Rome.

• Paris has a very fast and vast metro system, but Rome is a city the best explored on foot.

• For a law student, the Sainte-Geneviève Library is the best place to study in Paris.
