Interesting topic. Declan had sent the slides beforehand so i had time to read through and prepare myself. During the session Declan engaged with all of us and took time to listen. We had some good discussion, and I fell that it had been informative.

Declans teaching style, I have found the interactive quizes and group work helpful as I struggle to stay focused on power points. Power points have been used but only as headings much of the content was discussed as a class. The content of each lesson has been enjoyable, Declans knowledge of this subject and how he relates it to practice has been inspiring. I don't want it to end!!

I found there was a lot of information to process after one session. Many theorists and ideas were featured. As 'mature' work based students, we're worse than teenage students. We're like small children - you need to guide us to help build our independence😊

Declan is engaging, approachable and it is clear that extra effort has gone in to the module and ensuring it runs smoothly and with an eye on being engaging throughout. Lots of ideas relevant to practice that have been shared clearly and in an engaging format. The module seems very well throughout out and the assignment was clear from day one. The design of the module has built up well and has not been overwhelming. Knowledge building was well sequenced.

Declan is very engaging and proactive within his teaching. He made sure to be supportive of additional needs and support students overall wellbeing where appropriate. Seminars were refreshing and often fun. Overall Declan is always very polite and friendly. He also always valued input from students without pushing too much. However when there were no volunteers for input, instead of just picking on someone he spent time allowing quick conversation or going over the question in order to support volunteers organically. Very personable and engaging approach which was valued by many students in the class.

I would really like for you to decrease the usage of AI generated images as they are very bad for the environment.

thank you for everything you did for me as a student in my 1st year Declan it was a really difficult year with losing my dad 3 weeks into university and my shocking luck with group work. I could not have asked for a more supportive lecturer through it and I cannot thank you enough for everything. Being the only parent on the ECEC course has been a challenge to say the least but as a lecturer you made it a lost less stressful.
