It's important to
Create a trauma -sensitive space We should provide time to practice breathing , stretching and provide brain breaks. students need to know they are safe in their classroom and comfortable enough to be able to share why they may be sad or concerned about what's on their mind
s

Traumatic experiences can cause memory issues and delayed language skills. Some educators have decided to help students that have experienced traumatic situations. Thus, at some teachers have a small tent in their classroom where agitated students can curl up on a dimly lit pillow for a few minutes of quiet time and also a sand table. These activities allow students to have a brain break. Trauma-sensitive spaces or practices are very helpful for students that suffer from traumatic experiences.
