This padlet has as its main objective to show the consolidation of the whole job carried out in the second semester of the year 2024. It represents the successful end of efforts, activities, and collaborative initiatives that were important to our academic experience throughout this period.

Didactics of English became a very important subject in order to apply new concepts to our classrooms and many new tips were implemented at the moment of studying not only this subject but also the ones that were related to the practical component.

The whole subject was made of five phases and collaborative tasks were the main indicator of success in order to develop them in a detailed way.

This interactive presentation aims to get students familiar with the importance of listening skill at the moment of learning English as a second language.

The concepts that are mentioned give the reader an approach that leads them to the importance of handling listening as an important not only passive but also active skill at the moment of communicating ideas.

Finally the links that it contains become an enjoyable way to show listening skill as a fun challenge when teaching.

Lesson Plan Created in Phase 2

The development of this lesson plan was a collaborative effort that let us go deeper in the necessary details teachers need to take into account when planing an accurate and complete lesson.

Every student participated in an active way and offered their knowledge and special abilities to work with a wide variety of games, artificial intelligence tools and most of all innovative ideas that became a successfull lesson plan ready to be carried out when needed.

Didactic Unit Created in Phase 3

The creation of this didactic unit demanded a big effort, since the whole process was developed in order to be performed online.

Our determination to keep going regarding mistakes and failure in uploading properly the content was the source or success at the end.

If it is true that technology is the biggest help nowadays, it is also important to mention that being up to date as teachers to be is a must. It is useless to be sorrounded by a huge numbers of tools if the knowledge to handle them is not ideal, that's why commitment to keep learning is the biggest feature of this collaborative task.

On this poster the idea to be familiar with metacognitive concepts was the one that drew my personal interest.

In a world where learning is subject to many different opinions and experiences, our own is the one that should really matter. When learning about metacognitive trends and ideas my personal knowledge process was put under examination and I really hope to be able to encourage my students enough to get them ready to be critical of themselves and their achievements.

Talking about artificial intelligence nowdays is something that goes beyond any amount of words I could use.

This journey, not only in didactics of English but also with other subjects has been more than awakening and I really hope to be able to inspire my students to use AI as a tool to make them be better at languages.
