Kid B: Yeah, I go with them all the time. Sometimes I get to pick out snacks.

Kid A: Cool! Do you ever look at the prices and see if things are expensive or not?

Kid B: Well, not really. I just look for what I like.

Kid A: My mom says we have to be careful because some things are too pricey. Like, do you know how much a bag of chips costs?

Kid B: Not really. My mom just puts them in the cart.

Kid A: I asked my dad, and he said it's good to check. He showed me the price tag once. Chips are, like, $3 a bag!

Kid B: Really? That sounds like a lot. What about ice cream?

Kid A: Ice cream can be expensive too. Some are $5 a tub! But there are smaller ones that are like $2.

Kid B: I like the idea of getting the smaller one. Cheaper and easier to carry.

Kid A: Yeah, and it's good to know these things. Then you can help your parents save money when you go shopping.

Kid B: Thanks for telling me! I'll check the prices next time I'm at the supermarket with my mom.
