today we have been discussing the possible avenues that we could explore for this project, as we have decided to rethink/suspend our initial response to lgbt discrimination laws to make room for new idea generation.

we have been:

brainstorming taglines + phrases (reminiscent of brands + campaigns like fckh8)

brainstorming possible points of view; ie; spreading positive messages, news, and statistic or looking on the heavier side of things

looking into previous LGBT campaigns; what their messages were and how they apply them to a campaign: infographics, social media presence, interacting with public

i spent a while spitballing ideas to the group for possible directions.
i think that a campaign focusing on lgbt history + important lgbt figures would be interesting, as it would be a way to explore each of our styles and skills if we were each allocated an inspiring figure or two.
i am struggling to think of a message - what we are aiming to bring to light. a lot of LGBT campaigns i've looked into have had a specific point - a recent stonewall campaign was looking at the unhealthy attitudes and language towards people of the LGBT community.
https://www.stonewall.org.uk/our-work/campaigns/unhealthy-attitudes

i think at this point it would be important to narrow down our tone + message as it means we can develop a consistent + appropriate visual language for later on in the project.
