         <description><![CDATA[<div>The side effects that occur from Pica stem from the items you have eaten. All of the lack of nutritious content causes a lot of harmful symptoms. Symptoms include abdomen pain, nausea, vomiting, lead poisoning, bacterial and parasitic infection, dental injuries, constipation and most importantly poor nutrition and a loss of appetite. The toxic substances that people eat that are diagnosed with Pica can cause a risk of learning disabilities and brain damage. </div>]]></description>

Intellectual disabilities and mental health conditions are also common causes to Pica. Pica is not really genetically inherited but depending on the common causes shown, it is most likely to be diagnosed with Pica.</div>]]></description>

         <title>How can you prevent Pica?</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>There is no specific or guaranteed way to prevent Pica but there are various ways to reduce the harm the disorder can cause. Providing nutrition to the person who is diagnosed with Pica can help avoid deficiencies. Studies say that some drugs are effective in treating Pica such as Olanzapine, Clozapine and Risperidone which help tamper with the mind of a child or adult that suffers from this mental illness. Another way that could help prevent many Pica complications are medical  and behavioral therapies.</div>]]></description>
