Getting onto the Senior Show Team was a huge goal of mine, and I worked incredibly hard to make it happen. I spent countless hours practicing, refining my skills, and pushing myself to improve in every way I could. I knew it wasn’t going to be easy, but I was determined to succeed. I worked on my performance, focused on the little details, and learned to push through the challenges. When I finally made it onto the team, all that hard work paid off, and it was such a rewarding feeling knowing that I had earned my place through dedication and perseverance. Now, as we move into Term 3, I’m setting my sights on a new challenge: trying out for the Girls’ Rounders Team. I’m really excited for this opportunity because I’ve been a part of the team for the past four years, and I feel like all my experience and hard work will give me an edge. I know the level of commitment it takes to succeed in rounders, and I’m confident that I’ll make the team again this year. With my experience, my passion for the game, and my determination to give it my all, I’m ready to step up and contribute to the team’s success once again.

I’m really proud of my good attendance and the fact that I’ve earned more than 30 ClassCharts points. Consistently being in class and staying engaged has made a big difference in my learning. It shows that I’m committed to being present and making the most out of each lesson. The ClassCharts points are a great reminder that my hard work and positive attitude are being recognized. Whether it’s participating actively, handing in assignments on time, or just being focused during class, I’ve made a conscious effort to stay on top of everything. This good attendance and the points I've earned motivate me to continue putting in my best effort and stay dedicated to my studies, so I can keep improving across all subjects.

The Middle School Award is an ongoing program designed for students in grades 7 to 9, consisting of 15 components that need to be completed by the end of the program. Upon finishing all the components, students are awarded a diploma as a recognition of their achievements. For each component completed, students must provide evidence and a written reflection to demonstrate how they accomplished it. So far, I have completed the Reading component by improving my NGRT score and reflecting on my reading journey. Additionally, I have completed the Community component by actively contributing to my local area, such as picking up litter to help keep my community clean. These experiences have been both rewarding and motivating, and I am excited to continue working through the remaining components of the program.

I am incredibly proud of myself for achieving a 7 in my NGRT score! This accomplishment shows how far I’ve come in improving my English skills, and it feels amazing to see my hard work pay off. However, I know this is just the beginning, and I’m determined to push even further. My goal now is to uplevel my score to an 8 or even a 9, which is the highest possible. To achieve this, I’ve set specific reading goals: I plan to read a wider range of books, including both fiction and non-fiction, to enhance my understanding of different styles and expand my vocabulary. I’ll dedicate at least 30 minutes a day to focused reading and aim to complete one challenging book each month. Additionally, I want to practice summarizing what I’ve read to improve my comprehension and retention skills. This journey has already resulted in a massive improvement in my English grades, and I feel more confident than ever. With focus, determination, and consistent effort, I know I can reach the top and continue to make myself proud!

I was pleased to achieve a good score in maths, but I know that there’s still room for improvement if I want to reach the highest grade, M. While my current score reflects my understanding of the material, I realize that to push my performance to the next level, I need to put in more consistent effort. This means not only reviewing the topics I find challenging but also dedicating more time to practice problems, seeking clarification when I’m unsure, and focusing on mastering advanced concepts. Achieving the M grade will require a deeper level of commitment and a more strategic approach to my studies, but I’m determined to put in the work to make it happen.

I'm really proud of how much my grade improved from Year 6 to Year 7. In Year 6, I struggled a bit with some subjects and didn't always get the grades I wanted. But when I started Year 7, I decided to take a more proactive approach to my learning. I also became more focused during lessons and worked on building my confidence with tricky topics. As a result, I saw a significant improvement in my grades, which felt really rewarding.
