What i know

The lesson from this movie most speaks to me, first thing from my personal life is rasicm and sexism and the drive to achieve something. The book chronicles the lives of black women working at NASA as "human computers" who do difficult math by hand and in their heads. It takes place in the 1950s and 1960s. Racism is a major theme in the movie. Hence, we need to treat the people with fairness, respect and equality despite of their races of religions.

What i want to know

Why they have to be biased and racist towards the leads of the main character just because the color of their skin when they can be fair to each other.

What I learned

The director points out that people of color or different religious faiths found it almost impossible to work in jobs in the scientific community. One of the lowest represented people were black women. When the women the director follows went to work at NASA, they were treated badly mainly from the white people at their workplace. The same thing happened here in Malaysia of Malay, Chinese and Indian that are different in race and religion and being racist to one another. All in all, I learned that human rights, respect, equality and equality are part of the organisation’s goals and vision.
