         <description><![CDATA[<p>William James was born in New York in 1842 to his wealthy father who followed the teachings of a Swedish philosopher. William James learned to speak many languages as they traveled to Europe often. Due to his fathers connections William was accepted into Harvard, he also taught at alma mater, but sickness made that difficult. Through his studies he became what many consider the father of American Psychology.</p>]]></description>
