Greetings!
You are on a site, where you can briefly familiarize yourself with interesting places and attractions in the UK, that are not very popular but don't become less interesting for tourists. Highly likely they are so little known that they can't be found in textbooks and not every guide in Britain will be able to show them to you.

It is located at Shoreditch, London. Shoreditch is a classic art district, the center of London street art. Initially, there were many factories, warehouses* and brick factories, but over time, they all move out of town, and the premises become empty. Young people began to create unique drawings and Shoreditch began to become brighter and more popular. There is almost no room for new drawings on the streets here, so the old ones often overlap* with new ones, taking a picture against the background of one of them is expensive, because tomorrow the drawing may be blocked by a new masterpiece.
________________
warehouses - складские помещения
overlap - перекрываются

Sir John Soane’s Museum is located at Lincoln's Inn Fields, London. This house belonged to a man with a brilliant career. He was a professor of architecture at the Royal Academy and an architect of the Bank of England. The house was given to the nation after a quarrel between John and his son, who published an article on the low level of architecture in England with attacks against his father. This museum has collected a lot of antiques: Peruvian and Chinese ceramics*, architectural fragments of the Palace of Westminster, etc. This place is worth to visit to enjoy the exciting atmosphere and take a look at many interesting things.
__________________
Chinese ceramics - Китайская керамика

Doll watches at Fortnum & Mason

The shop with a variety of goods is located at 181 Piccadilly, London. It was founded by William Fortnum and Hugh Mason in 1707. They sell goods of various directions, but we are more interested in watches on the store building, which were installed in memory of Fortnum, who served as a royal lackey*. A kind of puppet is a music clock which is located above the store itself, and as soon as the clock hands reach the desired position, the melody sounds, like in a music box, the doors open, two footmen* appear. One with tea on a tray* and the other with candles in a candelabrum. Then they turn their backs and disappear again into their houses.
_____________________
a lackey - лакей
footmen - лакей
a tray - поднос

It is located at Norwich, the UK. Norwich is the city of dragons and medieval legends*, that's what it is called. And this is not surprising, because in the architecture, myths and legends of the city this creature appears very often. Recently, the Dragon festival has been held here, it runs from February 12 to 27 and its organizers really hope that both local people and tourists can learn more about the history of the city thanks to this event. If you decide to travel in Britain, then you should definitely visit this city, get acquainted with its architecture and history.
_________________
medieval legends - средневековые легенды

This one- of- a kind* bridge was created by Thomas Heatherwick in 2004 as a part of the Grand Union Canal office and retail development project at Paddington Basin, London. This is a structure of eight triangular sections, articulated at the level of the bridge canvas. It is worth visiting at least in order to look at this beautiful design and take a couple of photos, and perhaps catch the moment when it twists.
______________
one- of- a kind - единственный в своём роде

It is located in London, England. Such an unusual sculpture was created by the French sculptor Pierre Vivant in 1998 on the site of a plane tree that was suffering as a result of pollution*. The "tree" itself is 8 meters high with 75 sets of lights, each controlled by computer. At some time, the drivers took his signals for real, but then this sculpture became an interesting attraction for tourists. You should come here to see the glow of tree lights* that reflects the never ending rhythm of the surrounding domestic, financial and commercial activities.
________________
pollution - загрязнение
the glow of tree lights - свечение "древесных" огней
