These refugees helped by illegal smugglers whose business is booming because of a huge number of refugees and economic immigrant crossing into Europe. According to the Refugees and economic immigrants were coming from Africa. It goes on to say that the Refugees and immigrants were coming from Bangladesh, Egypt, Nigeria, Morocco, Ghana, Pakistan, Sudan, Libya, Eritrea and Senegal rescued in the overcrowded rubber boat. However, I failed to understand if Pakistan and Bangladesh are African countries.

Hi everyone, in another of my CEMUS class, a book we need to read is Outlier, by Malcom Gladwell where he discusses about individual success. He proves throughout the book that individual efforts are only a mere fraction of what is needed to achieve greatness, alongside luck, societal movements and demographics. I think it relates to the idea that collective movements have a great impact on what we perceive as a successful society and that no one can truly achieve its full potential based on pure individualism.

A member from my class shared the pdf version of the book with our group. Here it is

This weekend the Climate Parliament was held in Stockholm. It was inspired by the People's Parliaments of the 1890s and organizes people all over Sweden to collectively discuss issues related to the climate. Proposals for dealing with today's climate challenges are then considered and voted on, and then handed over to the Swedish Parliament. A good example I think of creating collective agency!
http://klimatriksdagen.se/om/?sprak=eng
