-Upon returning the soldiers were shut out from society, received ill treatment and this worsened the already war damaged spirits of soldiers
-Unable to return to home, already adapted to functioning without veteran
-Before being televised the public had no opinion or supported as that's what they did for WW2 which was not much before Vietnam
-Public lost faith in troops- lost and their ill treatment while stationed in Vietnam
-Under Eisenhower, not much was achieved with the troops sent, as time goes on more are sent and the uproar against war also increases.
