During my time as an intern, I helped develop a design language that is recognisable amongst consumers, whether that be through working with natural imagery and subtle colours, or simple iconography.

Furthermore, I created engaging posts with both positive and informative messaging regarding the importance of sustainability and what it means to dye naturally.

What have you learned about yourself?

The main thing I realised when It came to marketing and designing for someone else is how important it is to distance yourself from ego and operate with the company values and requests always in mind. This is something that I was not doing before.
Through this I learned how to take an idea and visualise it no matter whether or not it resinated with me entirely.  In-turn this broadened my taste in design and allowed me to think more "outside the box".

How this placement has helped shape my visions for future career:

Ultimately, my internship has taken me a step in the right direction when it comes to improving my skills using design softwares and knowing how to engage consumers. 

However, I would like to take the skills I have learned and further develop my personal artistic endeavours, such as building a brand of my own.
