This includes things like “connected cows” and connected prison cells. These are all connected technologically to a device of some sort. The connected cow helps to keep cows safe by monitoring their behaviour and the environment around them. The connected prison cell monitors the prisoner inside with a heat sensor, which helps the monitors determine if the prisoner is well, healthy and moving around.
