I am Casey and I teach 8th grade Spanish at Albion Middle School. This is my 11th year, and I have always taught this grade level in the same room the entire time. I hope to just learn some ¨new tricks¨ as education is ever changing so I would like to be changing as well!

I teach Spanish/French. Right now, I teach Gr. 3 Spanish in NYC in an all-boys PreK- 8 school, where I am department chair and also work as an instructional coach. I love to garden (watch people & plants grow). In this book study, I hope to learn techniques for my own classroom and to share with other teachers. I also hope to learn how other teachers respond to the different strategies.

I am a High school Spanish teacher at the Women´s Academy of Excellence. I have been teaching in that school since 2015, but I have been teaching with the DOE since 2009 as a Spanish High School Teacher. I am interested in making my class more engaging and fun.

I have 3 of my own children who are my pride and joy. They are 8, 3, and 2. My favorite season is summer because I get to spend all my time with my children, and I rather it be hot then cold. I also love music, dancing, and Zumba!

My name is Kristen and I teach 7-12 Spanish in Cambridge, NY. I'm a certified Spanish and French teacher (since 1992), but our and neighboring districts no longer offer French. I love being in God's great outdoors, whether walking, relaxing, biking, swimming, hiking, playing sports or traveling. I love being with my family, cooking, playing and listening to music.

I'm hoping for a clearer foundation in language instruction that ties into NYS's new standards that is applicable in the classroom, benefiting my students.

Hi, my name is Maria Antil. I teach Spanish levels 201 and 202 (college courses through SUNY Oswego) and 7th grade. I also teach French level 1. I teach at Marcellus Sr High School and DMS in Marcellus, NY near Syracuse. I've been teaching for 13 years.
