<title>The Difference between standards, rules, and key procedures that will allow your classroom to operate more smoothly.
Standards are the level of excellence, quality, or degree that a teachers holds for their students to achieve and or go by to allow the classroom to run smoothly. Rules are a series of points put into place to keep a group of students to follow procedures. Finally, procedures are official ways of doing certain tasks.

All three of these aspects filter in each other and work together to make a classroom run smoothly. Without one or more, classroom management could fall apart extremely fast. </title>

<title>How to structure the beginning of a school year in order to maximize positive student behavior.
Before the school year even begins, you as a teacher needs to know ahead of time and put a plan into place to start on the very first day of school as the students walk in. Have a plan, expectations, procedures, and rules already in order to begin as soon as that morning bell rings. Take the time to sit down as a class and go over each and every part. Have them sign or make some type of pledge to hold them accountable. Finally, always stick to the plan of procedures, rules, and expectations no matter the situation. This will eliminate the &quot;well you let Jane have a pass, why not me?&quot; complaint. </title>

<title>Classroom management methods that prevent disruptive student behavior and support the smooth implementation of effective lessons.

Procedures. Let&#39;s say it louder for the people in the back. PROCEDURES! If you teach the procedures you expect of your students and keep rules in place to make sure they are followed you can have a good behaviors throughout your classroom. Yes, there will be hiccups every now and then, but with stern procedures and expectations students will get in the groove and make it a habit of following them. This will lead to successful classroom behavior. </title>
