         <description><![CDATA[<div>Around 3500 B.C., agriculture had come to Guatemala, and the hunters/gatherers were now becoming farmers. Many civilizations moved to Guatemala after hearing this. The Mayan Civilization though, flourished and took over culture . But by around 1540, the Spanish Crown had official rule and now was a subject of Spain.This arrangement worked until around the colonial period(1820).</div>]]></description>
