In 2025 the earth is not the earth we know anymore. Now the earth is full of monster that need to be killed the monster come from a big portal called "Gate". Not just monster who come to earth the humans also got blessing that give them powers to fight the monster those who got the blessing are called "Lycoris" as if the world become an RPG game. Eva was a 17th years old child who always wants to become number 1 in Lycoris in the world , Someday he recieved a special blessing from a god named Antares little that he knew that blessing will change his life forever and will be the first step to make him the strongest Lycoris in the world

Eva was only a weak lycoris he never get a chance to kill a monster because he was only a rank D lycoris. In this world lycoris are distinguished into 5 ranks there are S A B C and the D being the lowest rank different from his friend Els and Eijaz was a B rank hunter that already killed many monsters

Someday in school Els invites Eva to join a hunt

"Hey eva what did you say if you join tomorrows hunt?"

Says Els

And then Eva answer

"Maybe next time im still to weak for now, im very pissed getting beaten up by monster man"

And then Eijaz shows up out of nowhere

"Oh come on eva, its maybe just not your lucky day come on just join us! I will carry you i promise"

Eva starts to overthink and finally eva decided to join the hunt

"Agh fine il join you…"

The hunt was in a big dark cave far from Eva's home, They enter the dark cave

"Whats wrong eva? Scared?"

Says Eijaz in a proud tone

"Nah im just affraid that we might maybe not comeback alive"

Answer Eva

"Oh come on its just your overthink dont think it to much"

Says elo try to comfort Eva

And then some monster appeared from the dark it was a B rank Rock Golem, Els and Eijaz begin to attack the golem with their skills but Eva were just standing still and was affraid to attack thingking that he might die to the golem. All Eva did was dodging the attack and run, and then the first wave was over all golem has been slain in the first wave

"Jeez why are they so many…"

Says Eva Exhaustedly

"Come on Eva it was only the first wave"

And then the cave started to crumbling

"What is going on? Does the Seccond wave already started?"

And then a big monster appear, It was a demon type monster and it was an S rank monster called "Gladios"

"W-what the heck is that thing?!"

Says eijaz by panicking

Then the monster started to attack them with powerfull skils, Els and eijaz managed to dodge the attack but Eva dosent have enough time to dodge and then Eva was unconscious

"EVA WAKE UP!"

"Damn it Els we need to run now!"

"What are you talking about? We can just leave eva here!?"

They both were off guard and the the monster attacked them

Eva unleashed a incredible amount of energy, the monster was suprised, Eva attack the monster and one shooted the monster. It was his first time killing a monster and it was an S rank monster

After the battle Eva burried Els and Eijaz dead body outside the cave

"It was nice knowing you friend…we will meet again but not soon…and for now farewell…my friends"

Eva walked home alone and he has officially become an S rank Lycoris and he will continue to hunt monster for his beloved friends….

Oh yeah I grew up thanks to a grandmother who voluntarily took care of me, she found me when I was crying loudly and screaming in the house. She took pity on my situation and immediately took care of me like her biological grandchild. She lived alone and after I entered high school she passed away and I continued my life alone.

After that, I joined the military and went to military school after high school in my country and I became the best soldier there.

When the killer was caught off guard, Joy seized the opportunity to stab the killer with the weapon that had been prepared by Galah.

But seemed that it didn't bother Kenneth, a sweet guy, with golden retriever energy that is the best word to describe him. He was too smitten by a girl that was as cold as her name, Crystal. She had a lot of secrets to unpack and Kenneth was ready for the adventures.
"Let's runaway with me," asked Kenneth. The girl laughed as she looked at him, "I'm down for it." Kenneth grinned as he hold Crystal's hand and started to run. He didn't realize it yet that she would be gone before he even knew it.

Kenneth was still a freshman when he first met Crystal. They both rolled in the same class and had the same major. They both had worst first impression to each other. Kenneth thought that Crystal was only a rich spoiled daddy's girl. On the other hand, Kenneth was seen as someone who was an attention seeker in Crystal's mind. He had a lot of friends and everyone seemed to be fond of him that made Crystal feel jealousy.

The contrast of their personality made them didn't get along. Even when their mutual friends tried to make them befriend each other, they still despised each other's presence. "Stop whatever agenda you're on, guys. I will forever hate his guts," said Crystal when she knew what their friends tried to do. Meanwhile Kenneth said to himself, "I think Crystal is interesting now, does she? I'm curious about her trueself."

Kenneth who feel wronged finally exploded, "Or maybe if you're actually smart and not just some nepo baby who got everything from daddy's money, you would be able to do this perfectly and not blaming other people." Crystal wanted to say something but Kenneth interupted again and continued his words. "Crys, not everything in this world revolves around yourself. They didn't talk for a week and Kenneth was the one who reached out first. Crystal felt guilty but she hesitated to apologize to him. But i took it for granted," said Crystal. Kenneth and his soft heart made him empathized with her. So, they finally came to realization that they didn't hate each other, they just need to be understanding. They continued their practice and when the big day came, they won the gold medal. To celebrate it, Kenneth asked her out on a fancy dinner. She hesitated at first, but she eventually agreed to it.

After the dinner, they went out together frequently. They got close and knew every single thing about each other. The development of their relationship made their friends started to wonder and felt confused. One day, Hanna, Crystal's and Kenneth's mutual friend asked her about their situation. "Crys, do you have a thing with Kenneth? You two seem close now," Crystal freezed and took a lot time to answer. "Han, you know that i've traumatized by my past relationship. It's d-day! Today, Noah is going to try some solid foods because he already grow his baby teeth. What a happy day for Noah.

It's a happy day for vegetables too! Today they're gonna find out who's gonna be Noah's favorite. Few years ago, carrot is Noah's brother favorite vegetables. And until now, carrot is the happiest vegetables out of all.

"I might win again this year, cause Noah can have the same taste as his brother" said carrot proudly
"We don't know yet, he might like other vegetables like me" said green bean
All the vegetables are arguing which one of them will be Noah choices.

While in spice corner, chili is listen to them carefully. She looks at her surroundings, she and her friends are not likely given by toddlers like Noah for their 'first food'. So they had to wait for thousand years until they're ready.

Any creature who wanted to climb the tower was tested first, each floor had its own testing or monitoring and had different levels of strength. 'Till midnight, we went home. Another shocking situation occurred when we saw Ella in the living room-- which was still a mess because of her behavior. Our foot wasn't fit with the shoe. But Lady Tremaine force us to cut our finger so that the shoe could fit with us. Drizella denied her because she doesn't want to lose her toes. She cried when Lady Tremaine grabbed a knife and grabbed drizella's ankle. She cut it easily, without thinking about the pain and blood that came out of the cut fingers. Unable to bear the pain, drizella fainted.

Lady Tremaine didn't give up. She looked at me and told me to do the same thing with drizella.

I was frightened, didn't know what to do. My hands trembled and moved unceremoniously to cut off my toes. I can't hold the pain, but Lady Tremaine still forced my foot to fit with the glass shoe. Unfortunately, it still didn't fit on me. I could feel the pain when Lady Tremaine cut into my heel so the glass shoe finally fit. Even so, the prince charming rejected us because there was a lot of blood in that beautiful glass shoe.

Hearing our screams, Ella came out of her room and approached us. Prince charming easily recognized Ella and didn't need the glass shoe to know it's her.

There is always something new about Athena's life. Moving from New York to New England is one to tell. There are so many things about new experiences that she forgets how some things can be life-changing.

September 1990 is when her parents decided to expand their business. As Athena has been guessing from the day she was born, they are always busy with everything but her life. It's not that they do not care, she thinks that the need to survive is crucial for them.

Athena despises how they affected her friendship. Her family is very selective when it comes to the people around her. She has been separated from her choices a lot and it was eating her alive how she cannot ungrasp herself from it.

Athena found it to be a little bit better knowing she stood in front of her now dorm room. Questions floating on her head; is this what is best for me? Am I finally having a worthy reason to live? After all, her family successfully got her in at the Redcrest School.

Nerve cracking on her pulse as she softly knocks on the door. For a while, silence was the only thing she had. But when the door knob began to twist and a beautiful girl stood before it, Athena tried to put on her best smile.

A girl named Mallory invites Athena inside the room. The room is more spacious than she thought, her parents spending a lot of money on her. A big window cast a golden afternoon light throughout the room, complete with silk curtains by its sides.

She starts to unpack and clean herself, focusing on her own for the rest of the night, ready to welcome whatever happens the next day. Soon, a day became a week, and weeks became a month.

Athena has two friends now, Mallory Aven, and Nico Donnelly. She meets Nico in the first English class she attends. The trio became inseparable, they would go to lunch together, take trips to the local restaurants together on weekends, and even break the night curfew just so that they could make their party.

In early October Athena, Mallory, and Nico gather in the old hall of Redcrest. Mallory bribes a janitor to clean the place twice a week just for the three of them to sneak and hide.

Here they are now, pipes in hand and magazines on their laps. Mallory raised her magazine high in the air, "I know her!" She pointed to the face of one of the models, the model wears a black and white ready-to-wear spring collection.

"She's a drug addict and she's done so much controversy. My mother is brilliant herself and collects every case of nearly everyone who has been contacted with us."

Nico closed his magazine and let out a puff of smoke, "Is that supposed to mean you all know about my family?"

Mallory keeps her bright smile and nods, "Of course! Friends to all, secrets to all," she flipped her magazine and meticulously scanned the page, trying to remember each person's darkest secret.

Athena looks at Nico, he has already abandoned his magazine, clearly uninterested. In her eyes, he seems stressed. His stares stay on the marble floor.

To be honest she doesn't know Nico that much. Other than his parents that go deep into political matters and his grandparents have an oil company, she has no other information.

Nico is a charming boy who makes girls swoon with his face. Not to mention his achievements in poetry, his absence can make Mr. Scott frantic that his favorite student is not attending his class. Mr. Scott is just like Nico's role model.

Mr. Scott is our English teacher, always wearing the same old suit from Monday to Thursday and something colorful on Friday. He always told us to seize our dreams and don't worry about getting our problems away.

Something has happened, Athena could feel it. Mallory and Nico are closer than ever, they share each other's flaws that even Athena does not know.

A few days have passed and Athena wishes it didn't. She always thought to be eager for answers from the stacking questions inside her brain, but she wished she didn't find out about this one. She heard a conversation about Nico's insane plan, which is to harm Mallory.

She also finds out that the relationship between the Aven family and Donnelly is fake. Mallory's family blackmails the Donnelly family so that they will support their family business. The Aven must've had the best private detective ever to gather all of the crime evidence.

Nico Donelley's family is not as innocent and charming as it looks, Nico has been trying to cover up his family's crime with his achievement and charisma.

Athena already told Mallory about Nico's plan, but Mallory doesn't believe it. Instead, she said that Nico is crazy, Mallory told Athena about his attempt to get out of the asylum so many times. Apparently, Nico is struggling with severe bipolar disorder.

Athena knows it's not good to confront Nico to drop the plan, he said that if Athena gets her way in his plan, she would be the one who is responsible for the crime.

The night has finally come and all of the students gather in the hall for dinner. Athena sat beside Mallory, meanwhile Nico was nowhere in sight. Athena ate her soup quietly, her thoughts running elsewhere, she's completely anxious about her friend's safety.

Turning to her friends, she found that Mallory's face began to get pale. Athena starts to panic and asks about her condition. Mallory reassures Athena that everything is fine about her, and a minute after this, she collapses to the floor.

Terror is all in Athena's eyes as she looks at her friend, she's having a seizure and everything she does just stares at her not knowing what to do.

Chaos surrounded the hall, curious eyes centered on the accident. School health members take Mallory to the medical room. Athena's mind is instantly fixed on one person, Nico.

She stormed out of the hall and looked for Nico, after all the searching she found him in the abandoned old hall they used to come to all the time, with a knife on his left hand.

"What are you doing? And what did you do to Mallory?!" Athena shouts at him, frustrated from all of the events. "She's dead, isn't she?" Nico asked softly, making his way closer to Athena.

Before Athena knows it, Nico cuts his right hand, she runs towards him to stop it. After what he did to Mallory, a peaceful death is not what he deserves.

He pushed her to the ground and held a knife to Athena's throat. "Please don't do anything stupid, Athena." His blood starts to drip on her shirt.

Nico let go of Athena and walked away from the scene. Emotions start to kick in, tears and sadness flowing out. She blamed herself for not doing it right this time.

On the next day, Mallory was officially announced dead caused by food poisoning. Melancholy filled the Redcrest when their favorite popular girl had gone. Nico decided to move abroad, and one thing that Athena regret until her last breath is that she doesn't have the courage to defend his friend.
