America in the past was a very unequal in all aspects of life. America was built on a very racist way of life and only recently broke free of that. Most of its history has been comprised of racism and discrimination of many races and groups. I also knew that the blacks had to go through the endless protesting everyday for years to achieve the most basic rights that all humans should deserve

I thought that it had learnt from its mistakes and past and gotten better. Although it has in the slightest, that still isnt enough. Today, millions are being oppressed for simply what they are. Our own president even dislikes an ethnic race and doesn't want them in our country. America is far from the ok-ish country I made it out to be. I also learned more in depth about the struggles of all group making their way in America and all of their mistreatments that they went through to just achieve a little more rights

The American people should also band together like they had in previous years and protest and petition for just laws and an end to unconstitutional doings of political figures in our country.
