Tradition says the Christmas tree is adorned on Christmas Eve on December 24th. Even though the myth may vary from area to area, especially depending on the climate during Christmas (which starts from a frozen winter in the northern hemisphere and reaches a warm summer in the southern hemisphere), Santa is generally imagined as being dressed in a red suit with a long white beard and living in a northern country (more often in Finland or Canada).
