The Columbian Exchange was an exchange from the old world (Europe) and the New World (America). It would be a trade of fruits and vegetables. Most importantly, potatoes which helped europeans because they were easy to produce and something to eat. Notably there was also an exchange of diseases mostly affecting the Native Americans who contracted mostly small pox which decreased the population drastically. Additionally there was a trade of live stock too and whether it be cows or horses as well as more.
- Janet R.
