Birds nest fern is an epiphytic species of fern that is native to tropical southeastern Asia, eastern Australia, Hawaii, Polynesia, Christmas Island, India, and eastern Africa. It is known by the common names bird's-nest fern (a name shared by other aspleniums) or simply nest fern. Birds nest ferns forms large fronds similar to banana leaves, with the fronds growing to 50–150 centimeters long and 10–20 centimeters broad. They are light green, often crinkled, with a black midrib, and exhibit circinate vernation. Spores develop on the underside of the fronds. These form long rows extending out from the midrib on the back of the outer part of the frond. The fronds roll back as they brown and create a massive leaf nest in the branches and trunks of trees. This fern typically grows on organic matter.

It is about 12—20 inches (30-51 cm) Aspin dogs are known to be extremely kind and lovable to all people. They are native dogs to the Philippines and are often seen roaming the streets although now they are becoming more of a house dog. They are calm, happy, and get along nicely with children. Overall, there is nothing negative about this breed because they are very low maintenance and fun to have around.

Its life span is about 10 to 14 years. Although many of these dogs look slightly different, there are some qualities that are generally the same. Its prey is dog food and predators are eagle and hawk. Most of the time, these dogs are either brown, white, black, have spots of any colour, or have a brindle coat. Their ears can be either pointed or floppy, their snout is usually medium to long, and they are known to hold their head up high

This is the Christmas Fern. It belongs to the group of plants Pteridophyta(vascular plants that do not produce flowers and seeds). It originates from North America, where it is widely spread and abundant. Christmas fern inhabits riverbanks, ravines, woodlands and hillsides. It grows in the partial shade, in areas that provide enough moisture. Christmas ferns can easily occupy new areas and prevent growth of other plants. People cultivate Christmas ferns in their gardens as ornamental plants and/or use the leaves for decorative purposes, especially the production of Christmas wreaths, hence the name - "Christmas fern". The stem of the fern is short, scaly, woody at the base and green on the top. Christmas ferns develops around 20 leaves, better known as fronds. Christmas fern is also used for soil erosion control. It grows on the slopes and creates a dense pile of decaying leaves that play an important role in stabilization of the soil beneath them. Stacks of Christmas fern's leaves is also used as shelter or an ideal nesting site for the ground-dwelling birds such as the wild turkey. The fern is also an important source of food for the caterpillars of some butterfly species. The fern has a life span of over two years.

The ostrich fern is a popular ornamental plant in gardens. Its leaves often lose their beauty throughout the summer. These ferns are very expansive and need a lot of space to grow in as they can get very tall and big. They develop in autumn and release the spores in early spring. The tightly wound immature fronds*, called fiddleheads, are also used as a cooked vegetable, and are considered a delicacy mainly in rural areas of northeastern North America. Therefore, the Ostrich Fern is an edible species.
* Fronds are the leaf or leaflike part of a palm, fern, or similar plant.
